THE BRIEF
Avid Automation was engaged to support a significant upgrade of the yacht’s onboard AV system, working in collaboration with a US-based integrator. Our scope involved adapting the existing Crestron and Lutron control systems to integrate with a new bespoke user interface, alongside enhancements to the yacht’s existing AV infrastructure.
THE RESULT
We delivered the required Crestron and Lutron programming modifications and played an integral role in the commissioning and testing of the upgraded system. Working closely with the wider project team, we ensured seamless integration with the yacht’s existing Crestron NVX video distribution and DANTE audio platforms.
We also introduced new Crestron handheld controls in key locations and implemented remote system monitoring, providing the crew and support team with greater visibility into system health and automated alerts for connected equipment.
