Situated on Level 37 of Auckland’s PwC Tower, Alverium’s offices enjoy spectacular panoramic views across the city. Avid was engaged to deliver reliable, easy-to-use video conferencing solutions for the main boardroom and several smaller meeting spaces.

With the offices sitting high above the noise of the city, the unusually quiet environment also presented a challenge for speech privacy. A background audio system was needed to help create a more comfortable and private working environment.

Crestron video conferencing systems were installed throughout the meeting spaces, providing a consistent and intuitive experience across rooms of different sizes. With simple BYOD connectivity, staff and visitors can easily connect their own laptops and get meetings underway without unnecessary complexity.

To address the quiet office environment, Avid installed an extensive background music system using JBL architectural speakers. Selected for their wide, even dispersion, the speakers provide consistent audio coverage throughout the space, helping to reduce the intelligibility of nearby conversations and improve speech privacy.

The result is a well-equipped modern workplace, combining dependable meeting room technology with a carefully considered audio environment, all set against one of Auckland’s most impressive office views.
