Takapuna Beachside Cinemas

Transform the sound across all cinemas, delivering a richer movie experience while keeping disruption to screenings to a minimum.

Avid was engaged to replace the ageing systems with JBL cinema loudspeakers and Crown amplification to deliver clear, balanced and immersive sound throughout each cinema.

An unmistakable improvement from the first listen.

Clearer dialogue, revealing detail and deep, controlled bass bring audiences closer to the story. From the quietest exchange to the biggest action sequence.

Installation was completed outside screening times, keeping downtime to a minimum and allowing the cinema’s programme to continue.

The upgrade gives Takapuna Beachside Cinemas a renewed cinematic impact, with sound systems built to serve its audiences for years to come.
